Her business has always been a family affair and now with her daughter Chloe, they has created the Cake Studio just outside Ashill, Ilminster.

As a child Lisa baked every Sunday with her mum, where she learnt both baking and piping techniques which she has used for many years to create beautiful cakes for any special occasion.
So, as a baker Lisa is primarily
self-taught but has received training from one of Somerset's fabulous cake designers for sugar roses.
Her daughter Chloe was taught by Lisa and is now doing her own designs and bakes which means that The Cake Studio can take on more orders and cater for larger events.

At The Cake Studio we have a small cabinet where we sell a wide range of staple cakes during the week.
We specialise in bespoke celebration cakes for all occasions including wedding cakes, special birthdays,
sporting cakes, Good Luck and congratulations. We can hire individual stands as well.
We love traditional bakes with a few modern ones thrown in each week but also come and try a Traditional Afternoon tea or even a Deluxe Afternoon Tea box? We will cater for just one person to 100, if you give us 24 hours notice. We also offer takeaway tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a range of cold drinks. The Cake Studio is known for BIG bakes….who wants a small piece!?
We are qualified at Level 2 food hygiene and safety for retail; Food Allergy
and intolerance training; The FSA Food Hypersensitivity Team and also
the Food Standards Agency level at 5 Stars.
