..."Harveys and Jubilee Homes repurchased the back garden of Harveys High Street, Chard in 2017. For the previous 30 years this grade II listed wall (in function of Harveys listing) had been neglected by the then owners.
Roger Moore re-pointed over 100 metres of stone and brick walls, including rebuilding 3 sections. He did a fantastic job and the Trustees are delighted with the finished product. Roger has worked successfully in the building trade since 1987, after training at the Somerset College of Art & Technology & obtaining a City & Guilds qualification in brickwork. He originally worked as a bricklayer for 15 years and then moved to work for south Somerset builders W M Lazells, concentrating on coving stonework and natural mortars.

Roger formed his own business in 2009 and now has a portfolio of many fine examples of finished projects in Horton, Broadway, and around Devon, Dorset & Somerset.
