Horton, Ilminster, Somerset
Horton Ramblers are an informal group who meet once per month for a walk around the local countryside. The walks last between 2 and 4 hours and are suitable for all ages and abilities. The walks will always be on the third Sunday in the month but may not coincide with the Sunday breakfasts being served at the Horton Village Hall.
All walkers make a donation of £2.00 (not including breakfast) and whoever leads the route, donates the money to a charity of their choice or to the Village Hall Charity Fund.
Walks start as advertised in the Post Office, via email to regular ramblers or on this web site.
We pride ourselves on our ability to finish most walks with the same number of ramblers as we started and have a very low injury rate. Each ramble is usually organised by a different member of the group so be prepared to organise a walk some time in the future.
