Sophy has lived in Horton for over 12 years and has directed Youth Theatre and local productions for 5 years.

She launched MAdD at Easter 2010 as she passionately believes that the creative process is as important as the performance itself.

Sophy has an excellent team of professional tutors who work to her ethos.

What do we do?

The Total Theatre Experience which incorporates the four main elements of performing arts: Music, Art, Dance and Drama.
 
We are a part time, independent, Performing Arts school, aiming to bring professional standards through creative workshops for students aged 6-18.

Students will not be required to pass an audition to gain a place. Our ethos is that all students are valued for their creative endeavour and can gain valuable life skills regardless of ability.

We strongly believe in equal opportunities in performing arts for children of all ages.

Where and when?

Theatre Trips:

MAdD sessions will endeavour to include a visit to a show once a term. This may or may not incur extra cost.

Master Classes:
MAdD will organize one-off master classes according to student demand.

In Term Time:

MAdD workshops run for ten weeks every term, one day a week. There are three sessions:
Ages 6-8, 8-14 and 14-18.

Each group forms their own theatre company for the year and chooses their own name.

Holidays:
MAdD workshops run for 5 days from Monday to Friday for one week most holidays.
