Only a few miles from Horton there is a little gem of a Village store.

Have a pootle out and stop for a while over a cup of Miles’ tea or coffee and a piece of Julia’s delicious home baking! We have tables inside and when the weather is kind, under the spreading chestnut tree outside.

As well as the usual Village Shop staples you’ll find an alluring range of gifts and treats; jewellery, glassware, paintings, pictures and novelties. And now bacon butties on Saturday and Sunday mornings!

If you decide to come as a group for tea, it's always worth calling ahead to bag a table!

SUNDAY OPENING

- If you've been walking or cycling in the spring or summer countyside pop in and have a bacon butty, a slice of home made cake with tea or coffee.

Throughout the warmer months we run a series of special events; Cream Tea Under the Tree, Saturday Sizzles, Local Producer demos and Craft Tasters. Please watch this space for more info.

Pride of place goes to our range of lovely Somerset foodstuff - great quality & keenly priced and many made by talented local producers!

If that's not all, you can stop awhile, enjoy a cup of frothy coffee and one of Julia's freshly baked cakes or cheese and ham scones and watch the world go by...

In our "Curry Mallet Cake Tin"  we bake and supply a wide range of cakes for all occasions. AND, you can taste them with a range of drinks before you buy!
